PALM SPRINGS, Calif – The Palm Springs POWER walked off the San Diego Stars in a 6-5 victory Saturday night at Palm Springs Stadium. The POWER rallied down 5-2 in the ninth, drawing six walks and setting up Izayah Alvarez to walk-off the game on a groundout, scoring Nelson Padilla. Dom Mota pitched three scoreless innings in relief, striking out six, with no walks and one hit allowed. The POWER improved to 17-2 on the season and return to face the Arroyo Seco Saints Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Palm Springs Stadium.
