Edited to add that tonight’s game is ON.

This evening, July15th, will see Game 1 of the inaugural CPCL Championship Series between the Palm Springs POWER and the Inland Valley Bucs. The POWER and Bucs finished 1-2, respectively in the CPCL regular season and will conclude the summer season with a best-of-three championship series.

Game 1 is at Palm Springs Stadium at 7:00pm tonight, while Games 2 and 3 will be on the road tomorrow afternoon. This way, the POWER are guaranteed to play one final game in 2023 in front of their home crowd who have supported the team all season en route to a 28-1 record. Should the POWER win out tonight and in Game 2 of the Championship Series tomorrow on the road, they will finish with the highest winning percentage in franchise history with a mark of 30-1. Records aside, the CPCL Championship is still wide open as each game against the Bucs thus far has been close.

FIrst pitch is at 7:00pm, with gates opening at 6:00pm at Palm Springs Stadium. Since its Saturday, all kids 12 and under receive FREE admission for tonight’s contest, courtesy of Jack in the Box.
