Palm Springs, Calif – The Palm Springs POWER defeated the PSCL Select Bombers 14-3 on Friday night. RHP Brett Finnel led the POWER pitching with 6 innings of one hit baseball, racking up 11 strikeouts. Anthony Angel Jr. got things started for the POWER in the first inning with a two-run, opposite field blast. He would go on to finish the night 4-5. Third Baseman Ryan Rodriguez kept things rolling with a 3-5 performance including a double.
The POWER are back in action Saturday night, the 17th, for what will conclude their 2021 campaign as they take on the Colton Knights at Palm Springs Stadium. First pitch is at 7:05, with gates opening at 6:05. As always, Saturdays feature half priced bottle of beer at Palm Springs Stadium!
