Palm Springs Calif,~In a battle for the “Kings of Palm Springs” the Palm Springs Power beat the undefeated Palm Springs Chill of the Palm Springs Collegiate league 12-0 in a battle of the undefeated teams.

On the mound Steve Boscia (Hofstra University) struck out 6 in 6 2/3 shutout innings. Hayden Shilling (New Mexico University) came in the 7th to preserve the shutout then Darin May (Cal Poly Pomona) finished off the Chill in the 9th to keep the shut out and preserve the winning streak.
Hobbs Nyberg (BYU) helped to carry the offensive load going 2 for 2 with a hit by pitch and Matt Sosa (Iowa University) after being subbed into the game in the 7th inning, knocked in a run by doubling to push the POWER lead even further.
The POWER will be back Wednesday night to take on conference opponent the San Diego Force in a single game series at 7:05 PM and fans in attendance can enjoy family appreciation night by attending the game for $1.
