Residents of Palm Springs,

The Palm Springs POWER would like to thank the entire community for their support this season. We had a wonderful team this year that wrapped up the season with a 34-4 record.

The staff, interns, and players greatly enjoyed getting to know many of our fans, and seeing many fans return to games night after night. It really helped all of the players and interns that were far from home to see friendly faces in the stands.

We would also like to thank the City of Palm Springs, Mayor Pougnet and the rest of the city council for their continued support this season. Without their help, the Palm Springs POWER would not have been able to host the annual Fourth of July Firework Show.

We are also thankful for our generous sponsors that helped make this season possible.  With out their support, many of the fun aspects of our games would not have existed. We greatly appreciate their help, and look forward to continuing our relationship with them.

The players and interns would also like to thank their host families for welcoming them into their homes for the summer. The host parents were supportive and understanding of the long hours the players and interns spent at the field.

We are sad to see the season end, but know that another great summer of baseball will be coming next year. Until then, keep up with the POWER at our website, www.palmspringspowerbaseball.com or on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/PSPowerBaseball.  If you cannot wait until next summer for baseball, you can watch the California Winter League at Palm Springs Stadium. More information about its season is at www.californiawinterleague.com.

Again, thank you so much, we couldn’t ask for better fans!

Sincerely,

The Palm Springs POWER
