PALM SPRINGS – The Palm Springs Power defeated the San Diego Waves 8-1 Saturday night. Joey Mazzetti was absolutely terrific on the mound, giving way to Dom Mota and Myles Rothfarb in a well-pitched affair. Tori Sweet notched four hits and the Power improved to 15-2 on the season. They’ve won 12 straight games and will return next Tuesday night against the Arroyo Seco Sentinels.
