PALM SPRINGS, Calif – The Palm Springs Power defeated the Colton Nighthawks 5-2 Wednesday night. Power starter Carson Phillips pitched a complete game, striking out 10 and efficiently navigating all night long. Tyler Richardson contributed two RBI singles on his 21st birthday, and Anthony Angel Jr. logged a three-hit evening of his own. The Power are 18-3 and will return Friday night at 7 p.m. to play the San Diego Yeti.
