The Palm Springs Power took Saturday’s game in dramatic fashion, with a 6-5 walk-off victory over San diego bombers. The game was tied at five in the bottom of the ninth when Mark Kirkland out of California Baptist University, singled, scoring the game winning run off of a well hit single into right field. It was Emmanuel Dean, from California State-Northridge who put the POWER on the board first with a big RBI triple to get things started. Cameron Kundig, out of The University of Redlands, earned the win for Palm Springs Power. They gave up six hits and four runs over two innings, striking out three and walking none. Morgan Weast, out of Eastern Nazarene started on the hill for Palm Springs Power. He gave up two hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out one and walking none. Jason Leon, out of College of the Desert, Bryant Ball, out of Brigham Young University, Connor Inman, out of the University of Mary,, Alex Ogletree, out of La Sierra University,, and Kevin Sanchez each threw shutout innings for Palm Springs Power in relief.
