Palm Springs, Calif. – Power took victory number 4 against the Southern Nevada Coyotes in a shutout win 11-0 with the Power pitching leading the way again. With a total of 13 strikeouts thrown against the Coyotes, another phenomenal performance was showcased with a total of 6 different pitchers for the Power, with Lucas Zack getting another start and retiring two batters on Ks in 2 innings pitched.
The combination of Naun Haro, Richie Amavizca, Riley Ricken, Andrew Baltazar, and Hudson Myers was enough to limit the Coyotes to just three hits and a shutout score. Richie Amavizca would be credited with the win coming in with 4 total strikeouts in 2 innings pitched. The Power pitching staff combined for six 1-2-3 innings.
Power offense was another team effort where they scored 11 runs on 13 total hits, and they started early in the first with a leadoff single by Jamal Ritter would score a run. Then Rylan Evan would score a run after reaching on an error and being scored by Christian Perez who also would score off a triple by KJ Moon. They would score four in the first inning and continue to hammer throughout the night. Myles Walton again was the star on offense, showcasing his speed and ability to get the ball in play with a final line of 3-4 with a sac-fly RBI, a bunt single, 2 Triples, 1 run, 1 stolen base, and 3 RBIs. Dalton Thomas had a bench appearance and knocked a single for an RBI and then scored a run himself. Two other hitters for the Power had multi-hit games with KJ Moon getting a triple and a single and knocking in two RBIs. Along with Blake Conrad who made his season and Power debut and managed to get two singles with a run scored and a stolen base. Isaac Rodrigues was able to get a single in his first AB and scored a run himself after stealing two bases.
