Palm Springs, Calif. – The Palm Springs Power hosted the San Diego Bombers Tuesday night

on General Air Conditioning and Plumbing night at Palm Springs Stadium. The Power beat the

Bombers 11-3 on the backs of a full statsheet from the offense.

The Power had three multi run innings including a five run sixth that effectively put the game on

ice. Four two out RBIs for the Power sent them into the late innings with a 10-2 lead.

Jayden Sanchez in his first home game for the Power was a catalyst for the offense all night.

Sanchez went 2-4 at the plate with a pair of doubles and reached four times. Another new face to

the home crows, RJ Holmes also had a pair of singles, scoring three runs.

For the pitching staff, Tyler Crawford set the tone. Five innings of one run baseball for the righty

before Casey Dill turned to the bullpen. Four arms for the Power combined to allow two runs

over the final four frames. Quinn Steward came out of the bullpen in the ninth and put up a

scoreless inning, facing just four batters.

Crawford took home his first win of the summer and the loss went to the Bombers starter, Sage

Nelson. The Power improved to 8-1 on the season and will face the California Halos on

Wednesday for Teacher Appreciation Night at the ballpark alongside a wild Wednesday

margarita promotion at the concessions stand. Gates will open up at 6pm with the first pitch

scheduled for 7pm.
