Palm Springs, Calif. –  The Palm Springs Power defeated the Colton Nighthawks for the third time this season in another lopsided victory, 12-5.

The Nighthawks faced a familiar foe on the mound in Jaden McNeely, who earned the win with five innings, four hits, and both runs unearned. Baltazar, Young, and Garcia pitched in relief.

Myles Walton earned player of the game honors, going 4 for 4 with three runs and an RBI.

Walton wasn’t the only player who received special recognition tonight. Jamal Ritter played in his final game with the Palm Springs Power, as he’s declaring for the 2025 MLB Draft. The center fielder stole home for the second time this season, going out with a bang.

In the first three games against the Nighthawks, the Power have outscored them 44-11. Game four against Colton is set for Saturday night. With tonight’s win, the Power improved to 16-5 on the season. They’re six wins away from the 700-win milestone.

Tomorrow, the Power will face San Diego United at 7 p.m.
