Palm Springs, Calif. – The Palm Springs Power were defeated by the Havasu Heat 8-3 on Tuesday Night at Palm Springs Stadium. It was the Power’s first loss in the month of July.
Andrew Baltazar was the starting pitcher and allowed five runs, two earned in four innings. A combination of Andrew Pinedo, Max Weckel, Trevor Eby, and Casey Keller struck out 10 batters through the final four innings, allowing three runs on three hits.
A 4-run fourth inning for the Heat gave them a cushion nearly halfway through the ballgame. Noah Arreola hit his first home run in a Power uniform, a solo blast to lead off the bottom of the sixth. Keedan Nadeau went 2-for-3 with two runs and two stolen bases. Greyson Gegg finished with two hits and extended his hitting streak to five.
The Power (23-6) have a chance for revenge tomorrow when they take on the Heat at 7 pm for Tribal Night at Palm Springs Stadium.
