Palm Springs, Calif. –  The Palm Springs Power won their 14th game of the season Tuesday beating the Colton Nighthawks 12-0. The win marks their sixth in CPCL play improving their record to 7-3 and their overall record moved to 14-3.

The scoring started immediately for the Power. Austin Haller and Myles Walton both reached to start the game. Haller scored when Michael Gonsalez was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded. Cato Kleinman drove in Walton with a two-out RBI single. 

Jaden McNeely started a pitching masterpiece for the Power. The left-hander delivered four innings of shutout baseball with six strikeouts and just one walk. Brian Garcia was credited with the win after two more scoreless innings took the power through the sixth. 

Lucas Zack and Andrew Baltazar finished off the final three innings securing the shutout, allowing just one hit and striking out six between the two.

The whole lineup contributed from top to bottom. Haller, Mark Kirkland, Cato Kleinman and Tyler Nelson each had multi hit nights. Nelson roped two doubles in pinch hit duty during the late innings and Grayson Gegg collected an RBI single in the sixth off the bench. 

The Power are back on Wednesday for a non-conference rematch against the San Diego Bombers with a 7p.m. first pitch. It will be Wild Wednesday at the ballpark featuring $5 Margaritas in the concessions stand.
