Palm Springs, Calif. – Palm Springs Power came up short tonight as their offense and pitching struggled, losing 5-7 to the Inland Valley Legends. Naun Haro had a strong pitching performance going four innings, with six strikeouts, two hits, and no runs scored. Relief pitchers on the other hand hit five batters and walked two. From the 7th inning on it was all about the Inland Valley Legends.
They did their best to come back by putting in their reserve players, hoping a rally could start. Mark Kirkland and Coen Goeas both had a multi-hit game, but it wasn’t enough to put them over the top. However, Power’s bullpen seemed to have trouble finding the strike zone this series. Despite their first loss this season, they can turn things around tomorrow.
Palm Springs Power will be on the road for a doubleheader as they face the Inland Valley Bucs. Game one will start at 2 p.m. while game 2 is at 5 p.m.
