Palm Springs, CALIF.~The POWER earn their 31st victory on Saturday night after beating the Ventura County Thunder 14-2. Jake Dahle pitched well again for the POWER only allowing 1 run in 6 innings while striking out 4. Earning Dahle his 4th win of the season to remain a perfect 4-0!
The Power offense exploded for 14 runs, scoring a run in each inning except 1! Jeremy Gaines led the way for the POWER going 2 for 2 with 3 walks and 1 hit by pitch. Even the pitchers got involved on the offensive side. Michael Sebby reached base with a walk, then stole second for his first stolen base of his Palm Springs POWER career! He wasn’t the only pitcher to get on base, Jesus Chavez earned his first hit in his only at bat tonight keeping the pitchers a perfect 1 for 1 (with a walk) on the season!
The POWER are off on Sunday but will return to action on Monday to take on the Inland Valley Bucs in their final road game of the season before returning home for a two game set against the California Jays.
