PALM SPRINGS, Calif. – With the 2017 SCCBL regular season concluding late yesterday evening, the bracket for the playoffs has been finalized. The POWER will enter the playoffs as regular season champions and first seed. They will take on the number four seeded Arroyo Seco Sentinels. The So Cal Bombers took third place and will play the defending champions, San Diego Force.
The first round of playoff action will begin tomorrow evening, with the So Cal Bombers heading to San Diego for game one and first pitch at 5 pm. The POWER will take on the Sentinels at Palm Springs Stadium at 7:05 pm.
The 2017 Palm Springs POWER have enjoyed a historical season that has seen many team and individual records broken. If the POWER can sweep the playoffs they will break two more records, fewest losses in a season and largest winning percentage in franchise history. Tuesday is dollar beer night as always, with all Bud and Bud Light drafts on sale for one dollar! Wednesday night’s game will be Family Appreciation Night brought to you by Jack in the Box where admission to the ballpark is just one dollar!
