PALM SPRINGS – The POWER (24-3, 10-2) fought hard but were outlasted by the Los Angeles Brewers in 11 innings, 6-4.
Kyle Crawford started for Palm Springs and turned in his longest outing of the summer, going 10 innings while striking out four in a no-decision.
Austin Barrett provided the offensive spark for the POWER, following up Tuesday’s big performance by going 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Jake Howeth also had a strong day at the dish, going 2-for-3 with two runs scored.
Palm Springs is back in action tomorrow evening, July 4, for the second game of two against the Brewers.
