The Chicago White Sox recently announced their prospect list for the 2013 season and in the top 20 were 2010 Power player Keenyn Walker and 2009’s Tyler Saldino.
Walker was drafted in the 1st round of the 2011 draft and is quickly moving up the ladder playing in Class A Advanced this past season. The 22 year old Center fielder is known for his speed stealing 56 bases in 2012. Walker had a .262 batting average driving in 55 with 22 doubles, 6 triples and 4 homers.
Saldino was a 7th round pick in the 2010 out of Oral Roberts University. In his 2011 season with the White Sox organization, Saldino moved up to Class A Advanced where he had a .501 slugging percentage with 26 doubles and 16 home runs. The short stop spent most of the 2012 season with the double A team in Birmingham but made an appearance in 15 games at the triple A level.
