PALM SPRINGS, CA — The Palm Springs Power bats stayed hot as they scored 10 runs on 14 hits en route to a 10-3 victory over Team San Diego at Palm Springs Stadium Saturday night.
Starting pitcher Ryan Santhon threw four innings and allowed one run, while striking out five hitters to become the Power’s career-strikeout leader with 70.
Designated hitter Luke Esquerra paced the Power offense, going 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI. Hank Yates, Bryan Niedbalski and Anthony Torres also chipped in with two hits apiece.
The Power improved to 2-0 on the season and will face the OC Hitmen tomorrow night at 7:05 p.m.
