Entering his second season with the POWER, Aaron will be leading the pitching staff as the team’s Ace. Brooks’ workload will be increasing this season as he splits time between the mound and first base. “As one of my last chances to hit at a high level I’m really having fun and enjoying it” said Brooks when asked about his opportunity to hit this season. Majoring in Kinesiology, Aaron will be a junior in the fall of 2011 and looks to add to his already impressive resume of making 2nd team all league and being named the California Collegiate Athletic Association Freshman of the year. Aaron is currently 1-0 with a 1.12 era giving up just 1 earned run in his 8 innings of work, all while holding opponents batting avg. under .200 this season. Brooks’ leadership and talent are both big reasons the POWER are off to start this season as hot as the Palm Springs summer.
