The POWER (33-4, 17-3) wrapped up conference play on Saturday with a wild 8-7 victory of the Riverside Rebels (8-17, 3-13) at Palm Springs Stadium.

Ryan Raslowsky hit an RBI-single to shallow right field to drive in Anthony Torres, who entered as a pinch runner earlier in the inning, as the POWER reclaimed the lead for good in the bottom of the eighth.

Mark Lukowski picked up his fourth win of the season in relief, giving up just two hits over 1 1/3 innings.

Jackson McClelland had a strong start for Palm Springs, throwing five shutout innings and striking out six before handing the ball off to Michael Barrett.

It was against Barrett that Riverside began their comeback. Seth Walston hit a pinch-hit, two-run home run, part of a three-run sixth inning that got the Rebels back into the ballgame.

They would tie the game in the eighth inning against Doug Finley, as an error by Michael Massi allowed the Rebels to score four unearned runs to knot the game at seven apiece.

That set the stage for Mark Lindsay, who began the bottom of the frame with a walk and moved to second on the sacrifice bunt by C.J. Reed, before giving way to Torres.

Palm Springs retakes the field on Sunday as they take on the Long Beach Elite at 7:05 pm on Giveaway Day at the stadium, with the first 200 fans through the gates receiving a free POWER hat.
