PALM SPRINGS, Calif – The Palm Springs POWER snapped their two-game losing streak with a 14-8 win over the Orange County Pirates Saturday night. POWER starting pitcher Carson Phillips struck out 11 over five scoreless innings to set the tone. The POWER pitching staff struck out 20 total Pirates in the win, while the offense scored a season-high 14 runs. Josh Hernández went 2-for-3 with a double and two walks, while Noah Blythe went 2-for-4 with a double and a stolen base.
The POWER will return to action Tuesday night against the SoCal Halos at 7:00pm at Palm Springs Stadium. Fans don’t forget that every Tuesday POWER game features $2 Beers! All Budweiser and Bud Light draft beers are just $2. Gates open at 6:00pm.
