PALM SPRINGS, Calif –The Palm Springs POWER started their season with a defeat of the Orange County Legends 11-1 in Friday’s win at Palm Springs Stadium. It was Eisenhower Medical Center night, and the POWER didn’t disappoint. Eric Telarroja started and didn’t allow a run in three innings. Brett Finnel earned the win with six strikeouts in three scoreless innings. The POWER offense left the bases loaded in the first but rebounded to score nine runs in the fifth and sixth innings combined. Anthony Angel Jr, leading off for the Power, went 3-for-4 with a walk and scored three times. The Power play again Saturday at 7 p.m., taking off the Long Beach Legends. 

The Palm Springs POWER return to action tomorrow night at 7:00pm as they take on the Long Beach Legends. Every Saturday at Palm Springs Stadium is Kids Night where kids 12 and under receive FREE admission. Join us for another action packed night of baseball. Gates will open at 6:00pm.
