PALM SPRINGS, Calif. – The Palm Springs POWER is excited to announce that manager Harry Gurley will be returning for his 8th season with the club, and 7th as manager. There was speculation that last season’s SCCBL Championship run was going to be Harry’s final season with the team, but those rumors were put to rest with Friday’s news.

According to Palm Springs POWER President, Andrew Starke, the contract to bring coach Harry back is a one-year deal, signifying that this will be Gurley’s final year with the club.

Gurley is the winningest coach in POWER history with seven SCCBL championships under his belt, including five-consecutive over the past five seasons.

With another crop of exciting talent joining the 2016 POWER team, coach Gurley will look to ride off into the sunset with his 8th SCCBL Championship.

Make sure to catch him, and the rest of the POWER players, during his farewell tour in 2016.
