PALM SPRINGS, CA — The Palm Springs POWER (13-2, 7-2) avenged Tuesday’s loss with a 10-1 victory over the LA Thrashers (4-3, 1-2) on Wednesday night at Palm Springs Stadium.

Ryan DeJesus (2-0) pitched the POWER’s first complete game of the season, allowing just one run on seven hits and striking out nine. DeJesus held the Thrashers scoreless through eight innings before allowing the only run in the ninth.

Ryan Jones hit a solo home run in the sixth inning, his first of the season, to lead the POWER offense. Hank Yates, Matt Paradise, Adam Law and Carney Chamberlain each had multi-hit games for the POWER. The POWER scored in every inning except for the second.

The POWER take their first road trip of the season on Thursday, traveling to Team San Diego. The doubleheader will be played at Otay Ranch High School in Chula Vista, Calif. The games are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. and will be broadcasted online at www.pspbb.com.
