PALM SPRINGS, CA — The POWER offense sparked to life for the second straight night, battling back for a come-from-behind victory, 10-5, over the Tucson Nationals (1-3-1).

Palm Springs (3-0) went with the “complete game by committee” approach, throwing Ryan Harper, Blake Estep and Doug Finley for three innings each.

Harper threw three strong innings before giving way to Estep, who was credited with the win. Doug Finley then pitched three scoreless innings of relief to give the POWER the weekend sweep over Tucson.

Ryan Jones went 2-4 with two RBI, including a go-ahead, two-run home run in the bottom of the fifth, while Reagan Fowler went 3-4 with an RBI double.

The POWER continued to light up the base path, stealing five bases on six attempts. On the weekend, Palm Springs’ runners stole 16 bases in 19 attempts.
