Former POWER player TJ Bennett was named Cal League Player of the Week after going 12-for-27 (.444) with five doubles, three home runs and seven RBI for the San Jose Giants (Single-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants).
Bennett played for the POWER in 2013 and currently holds the single-season hit record with 63 hits.
Bennett was signed by the San Francisco Giants in March of 2016 and has played across all three of the their minor league levels. He currently owns a .291/.354/.462 slash line across with four homers and 21 RBI in 46 games this season.
