POWER starting pitcher Travis Barnes gave his team a strong outing as he took a no-hitter into the fourth inning. His no-hitter broken up by a Dylan Early double after one out, but he was able to give the POWER six innings of two-hit baseball.

At the plate, Keenyn Walker, who had two infield singles on the night, started the scoring in the bottom of the second as his first infield single plated one run.  Ricky Gingras immediately followed with a double that allowed Walker to score from first.

Later in the game, the POWER erupted with a five-run sixth that started with Chris LeFay scoring on a wild pitch by Thunder pitcher Ryan Harris.  Brett Christopher also contributed with an RBI single in the sixth, along with Zack Haley, who contributed an RBI single in the sixth and seventh to bring the final run total to eight as the POWER Cruise by the Thunder.
